She was born on Sept 23, 1933, in Ticrapo, Castrovirreyna Province. She became the youngest confirmed mother in history. She gave birth to a baby boy 'Gerardo' at 5 years and 7 months in 1939 via cesarean delivery and became the world's youngest mother. Lina's parents, who thought their girl had a tumor, took her to a clinic where she was then exposed to be seven months pregnant. Lina never publicly disclosed the father of her first son.
