What Is Hair Loss?
Balding hair loss, also known as baldness or alopecia, is hair loss from part of the head or body. The fact of hair loss can differ from a small area to the entire body. Scarring or inflammation is not typically present. Baldness in some people causes psychological suffering.
According to the American Hair Loss Association, by age 35, 2/3 of males will experience hair loss. This is a significant number and has a massive impact on balding men.
Many people don't like baldness and use various medicines and tips to eliminate or control them.
Why Does Balding Happen?
South Korean scientists have conducted a new study about the causes of hair loss:
"Men who work long hours are more likely to have baldness. Those who work 52 hours a week are twice as likely to be bald.''
According to Kyung Hoon, head of the investigation team:
"Working for a long time causes mental stress and anxiety. Therefore, the hormones in the scalp have such effects that stop hair growth. Here our hair falls out.
An earlier study revealed that:
"Our body's immune system weakens hair growth because of stress and strain."
Technical Causes Of Hair Loss
Hair loss has many technical causes, including;
Male-pattern hair loss (MPHL)
The cause of MPHL is both genetics and male hormones.
Female-pattern hair loss
The cause of female pattern hair loss is still under study.
Alopecia areata
The cause of alopecia areata is an immune reaction against self-components, which are recognized as antigens.
Telogen effluvium
The cause of telogen effluvium is typically a psychologically or physically stressful event. It is a temporary hair loss that usually happens after a shock or a traumatic event. Telogen effluvium is most commonly associated with pregnancy.
Tinea capitis
Tinea capitis happens because of fungal infections.
Trichotillomania (TTM) or Trich
TTM is trouble controlling emotions or behaviors. It causes a person to customarily pull out their hair.
Hypothyroidism
The side effects of its associated medicines can cause hair loss.
Radiotherapy
It only causes hair loss in the treated area because of the side effects.
Chemotherapy
It can cause hair loss all over your body.
Nutritional deficiencies
Iron deficiency (ID) is a well-known cause of hair loss.
Other reasons for hair loss such as:
