What Do You Need? (Ingredients)

Prawns - 100 gm 
Lemon skin - half 
Chicken stock - 2 glasses 
Spring onion - 1 
Fresh red chillies - 2 
Chicken cubes - 2 
Curry leaves - 1, 2 
Black mushrooms - 3, 4 
Ginger sliced - 1 piece 
Soya sauce - 1 tbsp 
Corn flour - 1 tbsp 
Oil - 1 tbsp 
Lemongrass - half tsp 
Fish sauce - 2 tbsp 
Lemon juice - 3 tbsp 
Coriander leaves - as required 
Salt - to taste 

How To Prepare? (Method)

Step 1- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok; add 1 piece of sliced ginger, 2 fresh red chillies, 100 gm prawns, and 1, 2 curry leaves. Saute for a few minutes. Fry well till the color of the prawns turns pink. Add 2 glasses of chicken stock and 2 chicken cubes. Then add 3 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tbsp fish sauce, 1 tbsp soya sauce, salt to taste, half lemon skin, and half tsp lemongrass.

Step 2- Cook well; add 1 tbsp cornflour dissolved in a bit of water. Cook till thickens. Pour soup into a bowl; add coriander leaves and one chopped spring onion; leaves as required. Serve hot.

What Do You Need To Make (Ingredients)

Shallots (chopped or crushed ) - 4
Galanga - 6
Chicken (thighs boneless breast) (diced) - 1 lb 
Lemon (juiced) 
Red Serrano chile peppers (chopped) - 2
Fresh Coriander Leaves (chopped) - 1/4 cup
Kaffir Lime Leaves - 4 
Fish Sauce - 1/4 cup
Coconut Milk - 14 ounces
Water - 2 cups

Preparing (Method)

Step 1- Heat the water in the pot. Put the fish sauce and coconut milk with the shallots and galanga. Add the chicken, cool the heat slightly, and cover the pot when it boils. When the chicken is nearly done, add the chilies. Takes approximately 10 minutes at medium heat.

Step 2- Add the coriander leaves, kaffir lime leaves, and lemon juice when ready to serve.
