A crowdsourced online dictionary explains the latest COVID-19-Era jargon term as 'a person or group who ignores the warnings and advice regarding the safety/public health' during the pandemic.

Another Dictionary describes a COVIDIOT as 'a person who stubbornly and persistently ignores Social Distancing rules, hence helping to further expand COVID-19' and a person 'who hoards items of food or goods in a way that is unnecessary spreading COVID-19 fears, and depriving others of essential supplies.'
